My teacher suggested that I make a Weebly account instead of using this blogspot...
So from now on, all of my stuff will be found here!

I'm also making a goal to do at least one quick ZBrush sculpt a day.
I'll upload them to the "blog" section of my weebly:

Thanks guys!

Not completely finished yet. But thought I'd show everyone what I'm up to. :)

Just a Robot.

This is a robot I made in Zbrush.
It was based off of a drawing my friend did, which can be found here.
She's a really talented artist! I'm happy she let me work off of her concepts.

Quick Update

Hi guys!

Just a quick update to let you all know what I've been up to.
Mostly just some school stuff.

This piece below is my midterm from my Mapping for Games class. We had to replicate a process that our teacher found on Polycount (click here to view the thread).

Although the assets for the environment came from UDK, the house itself is made up of my own assets:
I made both the textures and the house parts in Zbrush, and the low-polys in Max.
If time allows, I will continue to work on this house. :) There's still a lot of tweaking I need to do.

These next pieces are for the game we are currently working on, called Deadskins.
I'm working on our main character:

And here's an asset I made for one of our levels:

I will be sure to update when I get more pieces done.

Bye for now. :)

Recreating a Gears of War asset (repost)

(The original post was actually from February of 2011).

For my Game Modeling class, we were told to recreate this pillar from Gears of War:

This was probably our biggest project so far...
We had about two weeks to do it.

Here's my version of it:

This is the high-poly version.
I used Zbrush and 3dsMax.
(This was just an exercise. I don't intend to use this for anything but practice~)

Oldies but goodies.

Just uploading some stuff from my 4th quarter review that I stumbled upon. (  ^ - ^)

Life drawings and a still life.

My first ever Zbrush model!

These are the two pieces that won me "Best of Quarter" for color theory.

That's it for now. Hope you guys enjoyed it. :)
